Volunteer Enrollment Process Automation

For the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chattanooga, we automated the volunteer mentor signup process. Our goal was to create a streamlined, consistent experience while maintaining the organization's personal touch. We began by mapping their existing process, identifying key interactions for both volunteers and staff. From there, we pinpointed automation opportunities and designed an efficient, user-friendly workflow.

Process Mapping Session (In-Person)

Here's a simplified overview of the automated volunteer journey: Volunteers register for an information session, attend, and receive personalized reminders based on their next steps (e.g., application completion). Once the application is submitted, they receive a clear outline of remaining steps with personalized links. Throughout the process, they receive weekly progress updates. This core flow is supported by additional automations that streamline specific tasks and provide timely notifications.
